Gateway Casinos sought to create an entertainment destination and designed the inspiration of “play” into every aspect of the newly opened Cascades Casino in Kamloops, British Columbia. They asked Christie 360 to create a new lobby installation to extend that inspiration into the realm of the experiential.
The large convex immersive display measures 24’[7.1m] wide x 8’[2.6m] high and is comprised of 160 Christie Micro Tiles ®, a gesture based interactivity solution, and content produced by Christie 360. Casino guests can interact and play with the vibrantly colored digital content--waterfalls, an aquarium, and geometric abstractions make for an entertaining and lively atmosphere. The Cascades wall also displays information on casino features. The various content feeds are managed via the Christie Experiential Manager (CEM) to allow for effortless playback of all content experiences.
